Father’s Day Roundup

Hey everybody!  I hope all you dads out there had a great Father’s Day celebrating with your kiddos. We spent the weekend celebrating and it was a great time!  On Saturday we had a BBQ at my parents house to celebrate with my dad and Grandpa.  Charlotte decided to stage a revolution against napping and was driving me slightly insane, but I got to escape while I went outside to grill a feast.  It’s a shame the weather was so shitty and we couldn’t really play outside but we made the best of it.

Yesterday for actual Father’s Day she woke up at 5:30 AM because she is an asshole like that.  Eric went to play softball and I dropped Charlotte off at the pool with her papa and grandma while mama had 3 uninterrupted hours to herself.  HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO MEEEEE!!!  And when Eric got home we went to a rooftop bar/restaurant where Charlotte was actually awesome, and Eric and I kept saying how it felt like we were on vacation with the food and drinks and summery breeze.  And it was just a really, really good day.  How I LOVE this family of mine. ❤
