Happy New Year!

Welcome to 2017! Charlotte has absolutely no new years resolutions when it comes to sleep because at 12:17 AM on New Years Day she woke up and decided she wasn’t sleeping at all! And then last night she was up at 3:30! NEW YEAR SAME CHAR. Please God help me.

I had such a nice little break from work but today it is back to reality. Me, Eric & Char had some nice quiet family time together, and Eric and I binge watched The OA on Netflix and I’m not OK.  Not even a little bit.  But, that’s neither here nor there.  What I’m really freaking out about is that my kid is going to be 2 years old in less than 2 months and I don’t really understand how the time is going so quickly.  She changes so much every day!  Over the weekend she said the following things:

“No Fanky, my kix!” – To the dog, as he tried to eat her kix.

“Lea me lone.” – To me, when I wanted to put on her pajamas.

“One, two, DADA BOO” – To Eric, when she tries to scare him.

“Geen, bu, yewwo, red, pink! Now!” – When she wants to play with play do and make a mess.

She is so funny and is honestly making me laugh every single day.  The personality on this kid kills me.  As sad as I am that the babyhood is getting further behind us, all of the funny stuff she says and does makes me excited for the future.  And I love hearing her talk and seeing what she is going to say! And I love the kisses. More kisses for the new year please!
